I went for a hike out on the Leslie Street Spit on Boxing Day. While the morning started out cool, it turned into a decent day with the wind (and surf) calming down the further we walked out onto the Spit. I was impressed that we made it to the lighthouse and it was the perfect way to combat the excesses of the season in the company of great friends and talented photographers. Thanks to Allan, Jeff and Louise for an inspiring day.

Unlike past years, I've decided to embrace winter this time around (or at least until January) thus the seasonal theme.
